Mobile/PC Game Environment Addons

This is an addon for Godot. It was created in version 4.7

There is also an example project that demonstrates usage and setup.

I've also included a spectator script so you can easily test and navigate as you adjust generation.

There are 2 addons in total included

A celestial addon that provides phases like day and night that you can customize. It has a transition speed between phases and a stagnation duration in each phase. It's broken down into 2 parts, orbit and climate, orbit handling the celestial bodies and climate handling the environmental variables and camera options. All can be adjusted as well colors are gradient resources and othe variables are mostly curves for more detailed control. The phases can also adjust the celestial bodies rotation and positions during rising and setting. The climate fades between each phase environment as well. Both the orbit and climate emit signals at the completion of each phase and at the beginning of the next so you can determine what phase has ended and which is now beginning.

A terrestrial addon that provides 3 separate regions for gameplay control. Each region also contains a polygonal shape in the center which you can easily replace as well for customizing gameplay restrictions further and not just in box form. Both the regions and their inner polygons have a color gradient, a height strength curve and a noise strength curve, all of which can be individually set. You can make the inner polygons the same height/level/color as the region it's in, or you can pop it up higher/lower have it be a different color etc. Also there are variables for each regions polygon and aabb so you can easily lock the camera to a region or polygon or just check to make sure actions in game are inside either one.  When generation is complete is signals so you can easily determine when it's ready to be utilized in game.
